LibSearch on OCLC WorldCat, Part 1: How to Search, Find Books & Access Full-Text eResources

About OCLC WorldCat & the New LibSearch Catalogue

OCLC WorldCat is the largest catalogue of library resources with information on items available from over 70,000 libraries around the world. 

The new LibSearch is on the WorldCat platform. The Alberta Library organization also has a shared catalogue on WorldCat. 

Find Print Books & DVDs in LibSearch

LibSearch is accessible from the tabbed box on the front page of the library website 

A new window will open to the list of items matching your search terms.

Click on a title to go to the item record where the call number is listed:

Find Full-Text eResources in LibSearch

The LibSearch catalogue allows you to search across multiple resources and formats, including the majority of the library’s electronic resources

Use the filters in the left-hand column to narrow and refine search results.
